A job fishing for money ???

So on our way back home from Moses Lake we stopped a few times along the Columbia River.  One place at the Rufus exit, about 20 miles East of The Dalles, we found a park along the river and a guy drove up while we were eating lunch.  I found out that we could not only spend 2 weeks here free, and then move over to another place along the River after that, but if I caught any Pikeminnows I would get paid from $4.00 to $500.00 a fish.  Yup that's right, real money to fish.
This is the guy who checks out what you caught and get you paid.
More on this later.  We just got home a while ago and still need to unpack the Bago.

Pictures from the rally in moses Lake, WA

You cant go into a town and not find a broken down Bago.  This was just outside of Moses Lake, WA

Kennewick, WA on the way home.

On our way home from the Northwest Winnebago rally we came back to the town we spent a night at on the trip to the rally.   Our friends Bill and Pat live here and we were able to spend some time with them just visiting.  And the Elks Lodge here lets you park and spend the night for FREE, and you know I like that price.  And this morning when we saw a lady come to the lodge she said we could move over next to the lodge and plug into the electricty if we want.  I think we will just start the generator up and charge up our batteries on everything from the computers to the phones.  And we need to watch the TV since dancing with the stars is on,  oh boy.

The new WIFI antenna I bought last week in Newport, OR is working great.  There is a McDonalds a block away, on the other side of the Lodge Building and with the antenna we get WIFI from McDonalds.  There is WIFI from the Lodge but no one is there that can give me the password.

Just before we left the rally it was not so crowded.

The WIT Rally

OK so our little Classic Winnebago Club has hit the Big time Winnebago event.  We have 6 Classic Winnebago's at a crowd of 150 Winnebago's.  There are plenty of new big rigs and we have had several people looking through our old small RV's.
A lunch stop in the Dalles, OR

The Mayor of Moses Lake, WA stops by for a visit.  He really has good taste in RV's.
Our line up of Classics.
Our table of Bingo players.  Jeff won a set of outdoor lights.
This was what some campers started with years ago.  They just had to show us.

Good bye Bill....................

Since I have several friends named Bill, and if you are one of those Bill's who is reading this, it is probably not you who I am writing about.  So the Bill, who passed away this afternoon, was not every one's friend.  He taught me several things about model airplanes and how to fly them.  He even gave me several planes to fly, since he has not been in good health for a few years, and got more enjoyment buying and giving them to others, than flying them.
I still remember the first time he called me and said good bye because he was dieing.  Since then he called me a few more times to say good bye,  he never called me today but I still remember some of those calls.  I went to visit him once and ended up taking home a car load of planes and stuff.  I even sat with him and listened to him tell me of his Chickasaw Indian heritage.  I never even looked up the ChickASaw Indians before now but you can click on the link and read about them.
So now he has passed, and unless this is just another joke he is playing on us, he is probably in a better place.  I hope he is flying model planes, even stomping on a few.  He was known to get even with planes that don't fly well, or for whatever reason, he would step on them and throw them away.

Maybe I can even find a picture or two to post here.  He liked taking pictures.
Or you can just think of him setting out in a field, flying little toys around.

Thank you Bill for everything.   You were the founding member of the LEFTIES (Lazy Electric Flying Team, In Extreme Stress)  We needed to set in lawn chairs just to keep from getting too stressed.

Today I finished my gas gauge changeover with the new dash gauge.  Then I redid the tail light wires on Wilbur since one light was brighter than the other.  Now the lights are working great,  so what better than to haul my utility trailer with Wilbur.  So thats when the back yard work started.  About 1/2 a yard of gravel is the weight limit of my trailer so 2 loads later here is what we have.
