Brookings Oregon July 26 to August 2nd

How can we do this but we(I) drove over my 50 mile a day drive and we drove 80 miles from bandon to Brookings.  I couldn't belive that there we several empty sites at the Elks.  And we stayed a full week here.

We pulled into the Elks RV area and it looks like we will be spending the whole week here.  The weather goes from cool one day to warm the next.

And there is a concert in the Park we went to.

During the concert you could hear the prates shooting each other down on the water front.

There was a good place to watch the sun set.

One day we drove thru a Redwood forest in the Crescent City CA area.  This is an old stage coach road the is very narrow and so the Subaru was perfect for this trail.

In Smith River, 3 miles into CA from Oregon on HWY101 is a casino and this fine MH is used as a construction shack.  I have seen it everytime we are in the area.

This is where the Smith River suns into the ocean.  It is always quite and very few people go here.
