Where's Terry............and Carolann too

So I don't know to many people like Terry and that's probably a good thing.  He and his wife are good to be around, but Terry will jump in any old RV and drive it.
So where is Terry now???  He is out there in a '72 Chieftain that he put together a few days ago.
Last I heard he left home Friday morning heading South on I-5 from the Portland area.  He sent me a text that he was close to my exit but still heading South.  And then he sent a picture of some wet road he was driving down.  It had 3 lanes so it could be I-5.

Then I heard from him around 8:30 last night.  Now he is in Grants Pass, OR.  Said the new points he put in were wearing down (only 200 miles on them is not a good thing).  When he ask me what kind of points I had I told him mine were Weight Watchers points,  Wilbur has the modern pointless ignition.  I tried to look up what points go in his RV and found the Napa store in Grants Pass does not have them in the store.............I wish him luck,  but knowing Terry he probably got some points out of a lawn mower shop to work.
If you see this guy along I-5 please give him some money.

And speaking of heading South, I think this Winter/Spring weather sucks.
Looking at the weather heading South maybe Terry is smarter than I give him credit for............I want some warmer drier weather too.  My wife only has a few more days of working and then we can take off and head where ever the weather looks good.

There is an Elks Lodge in Red Bluff, CA that looks good.  I think Wilbur could make it in a day or two.

News Flash

Terry makes it to Redding, CA.
It was good to hear that the old Bago made it up the big hill with only " a few incidents on the way", whatever that means.

What a nice way to travel.

How can Carolann still be smiling after the second day of this adventure.

Wilbur the begining.

Some people see Wilbur and say WOW that must have been repainted or WOW that must have really been taken care of it looks so good.  Well watch this little slide show I have played with and see how Wilbur looked when I first bought it.

You might want to play with this for making slide shows.

I need a new windshield for the wagon

Here it is Spring, and with the snow and cold weather, my windshield developed another big crack right across the top of the drivers side.  The original crack was from the passenger side edge to behind the rear view mirror.
I think it is time to replace it now.  So calling around I find prices from $158.00 to $288.00.  Of course I don't have insurance to cover the cost so this is out of pocket on this one.

And I finally picked up enough germs to catch a cold, or whatever it is called.  Started with a sore throat and now I am staying in and taking it easy for a few days.

But I have a friend who has some projects planned and I am giving him some ideas.  His wife says no more Bagos and he needs to build a porch.  So here are some plans to combine both a porch and a motorhome.

I can see the porch on the right with a view of the back yard.
And of course adding another bathroom with a porch would be nice.

A project that I said I would do is to make some peace signs for the Winnebago
crowd.
