The snow from yesterday is gone and the sun came out. I even took my nephew to the school yard yesterday and flew a RC airplane with him.
Then today I took Wilbur out and my nephew thought it was nice to drive our house around.
And the brakes work real good on the wagon. Before I changed the front brake rotors I would get a shake in the steering wheel when braking between 30 - 40 MPH. I thought it was just the rotors warped but didn't know if there were other parts loose. Now that is all better.
I plan to check how tight they tightened the rear wheel lug nuts, since I think the front rotors warped when they changed the tires and over torqued the lug nuts.

Another Spring snow day
OK I give up. Spring snow is not normal here.
But on the up side I did get to drive the wagon in the snow. The AWD worked great but on the down side the windshield finished cracking across the front of the drivers side.
Anyone with a spare '93 windshield without a crack?
Guess I will try the wrecking yard. Hey if I can do a front end alignment I should figure out where the windshield goes. lol

My Tow Bar tune up
Today my wife and I took the tow bar I bought, back to the factory for a tune up. I had heard that they will give their tow bars a free check up, if you bring it by, but since I didn't by it new I wondered about the check up. Sending an email to them asking about taking a used tow bar in, I was told that it would be free, unless it needed some repair.
So I took it in before noon and was told by one guy that I could have it rebuilt for $149.00 or for more money they would take mine and get me one already rebuilt to take now. My whole plan for taking it in was to see if it was safe or not. So after I didn't bite on spending some money, a second guy who really rebuilds them, looked at it and said give him till 2:30 and he would have it working like new. Seems like the only thing the first guy was concerned about was that it was hard to fold out and hook up.
Well when I came back it was all cleaned up and working great. I was told it was good for another 50,000 miles. That should take care of all the towing I will do.
So here are some pictures. They must have taken the whole thing apart, replaced and cleaned up whatever wears out, and put in a few new nuts and bolts.
So this is a tow bar made by Roadmaster and I like they way they treat owners.
Now when the weather warms up I will be ready to hit the road and take the wagon with us.

First day of Spring..................Not here
So the calender says Spring, but outside it says Winter.
We don't really get much snow here but this year we keep getting a few flakes rather often. And back East they are having warm weather.
I changed the front brake rotors on the wagon today. I think the tire shop that put my new tires on, over tightened the lug nuts and warped the rotors. Made me think of this as I was trying to loosen up the lug nuts to remove the wheels. Guess I should check the rear wheels lug nuts torque too.
And if this weather continues through April then Hoodstock might be a repeat of last year. Not at all like the first few years. I think I will check with the airport in Hood River to see if we can have our Hoodstock camp out there instead of at the Fairgrounds in the Pig and Sheep area.

WOW people are reading this BLOG
I noticed that the number of people reading my BLOG has been going up lately. So that makes me wonder why? There must be something worth reading. Is it the Winnebago stuff or the Subaru stuff?
My friend George, from Tioga George fame, is a full time RV'er who has been writing a Blog for years, and now spends his time South of the boarder, writes of his travels. Take a look at what he writes, http://vagabonders-supreme.net/ .
Now George knows how to travel, and he makes money writing his BLOG, because of the ads on his BLOG.
I too have ads, and Google ads pay me for the people who look at the ads on my BLOG, That is if I ever earn $100.00 in advertising. I have only had this Blog for a few years now, and I am up to about $90.00.
So if you find an ad on my BLOG that interests you, and you click on it, I will get a few cents.
Now don't just click on an ad just to click, and don't look at to many ads, because Goggle will think this is unusable to go from one click a month to 1000 clicks a month, and they don't like that.
So there you have it. My plan to get rich. And I will be traveling soon to far away places, like the Oregon Coast or even Hood River, Oregon. So keep reading.
And you can even follow my blog by clicking the "Follow" button at the top left of the blog, next to the search box, which you can also use to search for things on my blog, like Hoodstock or something.
Thanks for reading...................Now wake up and do something productive......................

I love to find a old Bago
So I guess this obsession with old Winnebago's is unhealthy but one friend of mine in the Portland, OR area has it worse than anyone else I know. One week he brought home 2 old MH's......and I even helped him both times.
So this is what I saw today.
This one even had the VERY RARE side mounted A/C and the dash A/C. Now that's COOL.
A true KMART shopper.
