Memorial day weekend 2009

Down on the South Jetty of Newport bay.

We Found a place to park where several people like to fish. Wilbur blocked the wind so we could set outside and enjoy the sun and watch the boats go in and out of the bay.

We are using a Flip to make some movies. Hold on to your hat since the dirt road out here is not so smooth.

The packed Memorial day weekend. I know it's not a campground but we enjoy the cable TV, WIFI, elect and water. Oh and sometimes we go in the lodge for activities. Or we just drive down to the ocean and spend the day.

Hoodstock 2009

This past weekend was the annual Classic Winnebago Spring Northwest Jamboree. It was held at the Hood River County Fairgrounds in Odell, Oregon. A great time was had by all.

Schooner Landing 2/9/09

We got up early. about 6:30 and saw the moon over the ocean. What a view.

Now at 9:30 AM it's snowing. Most people never see it snow at the beach but we have seen this a few times.

Then the Sun came out later.

And finally the Sun set into the clouds.
